Once upon a time, there was a little old chalet in the Swiss Alps. We decided, after 60 years, to make some renovations, to remove the ceiling of the main room, and to add a gallery. Since the room is relatively small, the problem was to find a small spiralling staircase. And we did so, in Canada at Esk’et Tiny House.
The plans & drawings with all required measurements, as well as the detailed step-by-step instructions are so perfect, that the Swiss carpenter, who doesn’t speak a word of English, and has no clue, how to convert inches into the metric system, was able to build a wonderful spiralling ladder (see pictures).
Congratulations to Robert for the perfect description, and to Kobi (the Swiss carpenter) for the remarkable work.
